Traditional Chinese Medicine Initial Consultation
90 minutes (30 minutes for diagnosis and 1 hour for recommended treatment)

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has a long history of treating a wide range of both chronic and acute health conditions. TCM is based on five interdependent branches: exercise, nutrition, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and massage.

Acupuncture is the most widely recognized branch within TCM. Acupuncture has been shown to assist in a wide variety of problems including: back pain, sciatica and arthritis, sinus congestion, infertility, irritable bowel syndrome, weight loss, chronic fatigue, migraine, and even toothache and infection.

Our TCM session commences with a diagnosis, which may include palpation, pulse taking, verbal case taking and tongue analysis. Depending on the diagnosis, points will be selected along the main meridians to normalize the flow of Qi.

Guests will also be provided a personalized handout (according to diagnosis) with lifestyle, nutritional, and possibly a herbal formula prescription.

1 Hour recommended treatment with short follow–up diagnosis.

Some conditions may require follow-up treatments. Many guests request a follow-up treatment before leaving the resort for home or their next destination as a way of promoting wellness.

A short pulse and diagnosis will be made then followed by the treatment

Stop Craving Treatment

Stop craving protocol is simple auricular (ear) acupuncture treatment. The treatment at Zasinar Skin and Anti-Aging Centre is based on the clinically proven NADA protocol. It is used around the world to help people deal with and recover from substance abuse and other addictions.

Short Frequent Stop craving treatments has been shown in a variety of clinical settings to be beneficial in the process of detoxification from substance abuse as well as to help with the emotional, physical and psychological attributes involved in addictions.

In contrast with much of Traditional Chinese medicine, stop craving treatment involves no diagnosis. In order to stop smoking or lose weight, a series of treatments, even daily, should be planned into your stay. Usually, people feel a difference after the first session.

Cupping

Cupping is another part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. A doctor uses small glass cups as suction devices to place on the skin. This approach will apply to do suction and negative pressure that help relax muscles and the nervous system and stimulate blood circulation.

Cupping is helpful to relieve pains in the back, neck, and muscles. Cupping can furthermore be used in treatment of detoxification, anxiety, fatigue, migraines, rheumatism, cellulite, and weight management.
